Case History 1
When I was CEO of the SmartWater Group, I was approached by a US Federal Agency as they were concerned that historic artifacts stolen by ISIS in Syria were being sold on the black market to fund terrorist activities.
The main problem was that Agents frequently seized artifacts they believed were stolen but had no way to identify where they had been stolen from.
Our scientists went to work developing a special form of SmartWater forensic solutions that, when applied to an artifact, wouldn't cause it damage. They then trained and equipped Syrian archaeologists who, bravely, secretly entered Idlip in Syria and applied the solution to thousands of precious artifacts.
This means that Agents can now prove through forensic analysis of SmartWater that an artifact has been stolen, thereby creating a powerful deterrent to theft.
Case History 2
The police brought a case to our attention. A vulnerable woman was being subject to threats of violence from a former partner. Wearing a ski mask, he would arrive at her house carrying a can of petrol and shout through the letterbox that he was going to burn her house down when she was sleeping. He’d then rattle a box of matches.
She was petrified and called the police, but by the time they arrived, he had long gone and had his alibi in place.
Our scientists developed a handheld spray that the police provided to the woman, with instructions to spray the man if he came back.
The police then wrote to the man and warned him that SmartWater was present at the woman’s house, so they could prove he was there.
He never went back.
